Italy welcomed these editions of the Valencia CF campuses with special interest this summer, as last season the programme had been heavily affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year they have been able to carry out the project more extensively in the European country, in cities such as Rome, Naples, Bologna, Catania, Padova, Borgo Tossignano, Roccaraso, Carpi, Ravenna, Cesenatico, Montalto di Castro, Albonese, San Rocco, Lesa, Bruino, San Rocco, Gravina di Puglia, Firenze, Cascia , Modena, Scicli and Grosseto. VCF Academy coaches were able to travel in person to the locations to offer their experience and wisdom.
Over 650 children participated in the different Valencia CF campuses. Some of them -like in San Rocco- were run exclusively for girls. The project provides the opportunity to enjoy football and learn more about the working methodology of the VCF Academy, one of the five best academy systems in Europe according to the latest annual reports from the CIES Football Observatory.
Valencia CF Soccer Academy
The campuses that the VCF Academy run at a national and international level are part of the VCF Soccer Academy programme, and help to spread the Valencia CF brand and values worldwide.
The main objective is to showcase the training methods used by the club around the world, with the help of professionals from the club. Valencia CF Soccer Campuses, Training Camps, the VCF Soccer Academy and the Sports Consultancy services are just some examples of how this great project brings the club to the masses.
